According to health officials of Egypt, the country is securing its ports and airports to avoid the entrance of any new COVID-19 variants.

Health officials had stepped up the country’s vaccination program amid a push by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian government.
And according to Taj El-Din, Africa and Egypt signed the agreement that states that Africa will receive 400 million doses of the Johanson vaccine. In contrast, Egypt will receive 20 million doses of it.

Firstly the administered delayed the vaccines in September. However, Egypt’s intense negotiation meant the country would get the vaccination from July.
Following the talks, the vaccine price has reduced from 10 dollars to 7.50 dollars. And according to Egyptian authorities, it may be possible that people will be needed only one dose of the vaccine.
At present, the country is studying whether the revaccination necessity is twice or only once. Still, they need to get a vaccination against coronavirus after six months or the nine months most.
Meanwhile, the local production of the Egyptian vaccine Sinovac has beenconsidered a significant victory as they are producing 300,00 doses per day.
For biological products and vaccines, two factories are opening with the Egyptian holding Company.
The production capacity of the first is 300,000 doses per day which annual estimation is 230 million doses.
In comparison, the second factory is operating 3 million doses per day, a yearly estimation of 1 billion doses.
