On Thursday night there was a fire incident in Bangladesh in a factory outside Dhaka. Incident killed at least 52 laborers of the Hashem Foods Ltd factory. There was an inside illegal lock on the doors of a 5 story building. Fire extinguisher officials reported initial details on Friday.

Debasish Bardhan is the deputy director of the fire service and civil defense. On Friday he informed that the main exit door was illegally locked. Which trapped workers. And became the reason for 52 casualties. Many laborers jumped to escape. And had suffered serious injuries.

Factories can’t lock main exit doors during working hours. This is the law in Bangladesh. Relatives of the workers are in deep sorrow and anger. They also clashed with police on Friday. Government regretted the fire tragedy. And announced an investigation to find the cause of the fire.
