Ladakh Occupied by China Again: Ex Indian Col Claims

Ajay Shukla is a well-known defense analyst and ex-Indian army officer. Recently he wrote an article for business standard daily. In which he claimed that China is reoccupying disputed territories in Ladakh. An Indian army spokesman denied those claims.

Claims Of Mister Shukla

According to Ajay Shukla, clashes heated up in eastern Ladakh on 2nd May. There is a possibility of casualties on both sides. China has also deployed an S-400 missile defense system in Galway valley. This means China has neutralized Indian air force power. China has eroded the demilitarization agreement. China has specifically reoccupied Black Top and Helmet, strategic positions of Kailash range.

Some Details Of Claims

According to him, tensions between both sides rose in early April. China sent many drones there in April. 2nd May Clash happened in the same area. Where Chinese troops killed 20 Indian soldiers last week. Both sides cannot hide deaths or serious injuries for more time.

Shukla further reveals that China has deployed two regiments of S-400 missile systems in the buffer area. China has totally crushed Indian air strength by this move.

Sources Of Information

He says he has two sources for all his information. His sources are from the Ministry of defense. There is a surety about his sources as credible and reliable. Shukla also rejected the Indian army’s rebuttal. Ajay says last year when all this was happening. Indian army’s first response was silence and denial. And this is happening again.

All these things are occurring at times. When the Indian foreign minister has to meet with their Chinese counterpart in Dushanbe. If there is nothing more serious. Then what Indian FM would discuss there for Ladakh region. The region is at the brink of another confrontation.
