North and South Korea conducted missiles test, just hours apart

North and South Korea, one of the most volatile regions on planet, tested ballistic missiles on just few hours apart, building up tensions.

On Wednesday evening, North Korea has fired two ballistic rockets into waters off its eastern coast, two days after professing to have tested a recently evolved missile.

Hours later, The Press reported that South Korea’s presidential office declared; it had conducted its first underwater missile test. The weapon was launched from a submarine and reached its objective.

Expert analysis on ballistic missiles testing

Specialists believe that the South Korean launch garnered support by South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s administration because of the criticism that the South remains too delicate on the North.

Whereas, the north korean test is the most recent indication of how the country has kept on extending its weapons abilities since chats with the US to destroy its nuclear and ballistic missiles programs slowed down in 2019. United Nations sanctions restrict it from utilizing Ballistic missles innovation, except cruise missiles , which fly at a lower height over shorter distances.

Japan under threat

North Korea’s most recent tests threatens the safety and security of Japan. As, the North Korean rockets had landed outside of Japan’s exclusive Financial Zone; in waters between northwest Japan and the Korean Peninsula.

Suga said. “The government of Japan is determined to further step up our vigilance and surveillance to be prepared for any contingencies.”
