Tremendous Achievement of Bangladeshi MasterChef Kishwar

For many days the rounds of MasterChef Australia have been occurring. And Bangladesh Chef Kishwar has been showing excellence in raising Bengali cuisine in front of Australians.

Kishwar Chowdhury, 36, of Bangladeshi descent, is one of the leading contestants in the world-famous show Australia’s Master Chef. Although she was born and raised in Australia. High school love turned into marriage. Kishwar currently has an 11-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. Participated in season 13 of Masterchef in Australia. One by one the Bengali’s cooking was bowling out the judges.

Experience of Kishwar at MasterChef

She said, “I have never done anything like this before I have only cooked for my family at home and my family really love my food. So for me, it’s a very very personal thing. Coming here and cooking Bangladeshi food on this platform is very daunting and I really hope that I could make my family proud.”

 Every time she cooks a Bengali dish the judges are just amazed at tasting those foods. These are rare foods found in the restaurant.

She also mentioned that her ultimate dream is to write a cookbook with Bangladeshi food and Bangladeshi flavors.

Journey to the final

Kishwar made it realize that Bangladeshi dishes also have magical tastes in those. 

Judges Melissa Leong, Andy Allen, and Jock Zonfrillo admire Kishwar’s cooking. Kishwar made it to the top three after battling two rivals in the semifinal round on Sunday. 

At first, Kishwar intoxicated the judges of Australia with the recipe of Kala Bhuna. Then the world conquered his cooked fish soup. Then one by one, Fuchka, Chatpati – one after the other, she used to sit on the stage of the master chef in the ordinary food of every Bengali.

Though she did not get the MasterChef trophy, her journey inspired the Bengalis and made the Bengalis feel proud about their cuisine.
